You have the taste. What you do not have is a free Saturday, a trailer, and somewhere to store forty pumpkins in November. Portico Seasonal exists for that gap.
We design a display against your actual house. We source the material. We bring it, we build it on your steps, and when the season ends we come back and haul it off. Nothing lives in your garage. Nothing goes to your curb. You get the porch and skip every part that is not the porch.
The logo reads Portico, Seasonal Home Decor. We go by Portico Seasonal. A finished display is a Porchscape — same word every season, so when you book again in December you already know what you are asking for.
Three seasons. Same crew.
Fall and Halloween. Pumpkins, mums, hay, and stalks, designed to the house and installed on the steps. A Thanksgiving refresh is available after Halloween. Pickup and removal is a real product, not a favor we forget: we break it down, load it, and take it away. Fall orders close October 25, the last day we can source material and still install before Halloween.
Christmas. Porch, trees, mantels, and staircases. We light porches, columns, rails, and trees, including lit trees flanking your door. We will also do the inside of the house: the tree, the mantel, the staircase, the rooms that matter when you are hosting. January teardown should be booked with the install. The Christmas window is about four weeks, and in practice the calendar is largely spoken for by Thanksgiving.
Easter and spring. Pastel florals, a wreath sized to the door, and planted urns for the bare months after the garland comes down. Spring is the lightest season we do, and the one that fixes a front door that has not changed since December. Book two to three weeks before Easter if that is the date that matters.
Custom work starts at $3,500: multi-area, oversized, or event-scale installs. Commercial and HOA work is the same idea at a different scale. Storefronts, offices, restaurants, clubhouses, and community entries are quoted against the property, not bought as a home package. We handle the entries, lobbies, and ground-level exteriors people actually walk through. We do not outline buildings.
We do not install roofline lighting, gutter lighting, or permanent exterior light systems. No ladders on your roof. No clips on your fascia. If you want the house outlined, you want a lighting company, and we would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong thing.
We also will not promise that real pumpkins survive a South Florida October. Real pumpkins are produce. We use thick-skinned varieties, keep them off wet stone, and build so one soft pumpkin does not collapse the arrangement. On a shaded, covered porch a display often holds the season. On unshaded steps in a wet October, it may not. If something fails early, tell us.
Plantation is home base. We run out of central Broward, which is why Plantation, Davie, Cooper City, and west Miramar carry no delivery fee, and why a specific Saturday is almost always findable. The base-city advantage shows up most at Christmas: if a light strand fails on December 18th, Plantation is the one place we can genuinely swing by the same week, because you are ten minutes from where the trailer lives. Jacaranda and the Acres are that close.
Broward County is where most of the calendar goes. From there we cover Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade, and a southwest Florida crew handles Naples, Golden Gate, Estero, and Cape Coral rather than driving them across the state. Fifty-eight cities in all. Delivery is its own line, priced by zone, so the far-out homes stay bookable instead of getting turned away.
Metro Atlanta is run by a Georgia crew based in Fairburn, on the south side of the metro, not driven from Florida. Delivery is priced by distance from Fairburn. Same packages, same design-and-install pricing as the Florida work.
Four steps, and only the first one is yours.
You price a package and book. Within one business day we agree an install date that works. If we cannot offer one, you get a full refund. We source everything and build it on your steps. Most exterior installs run under two hours and you do not need to be home; we send a photo when it is done. Interior Christmas work needs someone to let us in. Add pickup and removal and the whole thing leaves with us.
Design is against the house, not a catalog photo. Pale stucco with a dark door takes different pumpkins than a Mediterranean front with barrel tile. A Plantation Acres approach needs height and mass or it disappears from the road. A tight stoop wants a well-built entry, not a farm-stand dump.
The same crew runs all three seasons, which is the point. Most people who book us in October book us again in December, and by then we already know your palette, your entry, where the outlets are, and which side of the steps gets the afternoon sun. The people who book all three get first call on dates.
The photographs on this site show the style and scale of the displays we design. They are not photographs of past client installations.
