Seasonal Porch Decorating in Lee County

Estero and Cape Coral. Newer master-planned builds and a canal city of single-family homes.

Lee County is the easiest southwest Florida market for us, because the housing is overwhelmingly single-family. Cape Coral alone is built on more than four hundred miles of canals and is almost entirely detached homes, which means nearly every street has a real front elevation to work with rather than a tower or a townhouse block.

Estero is the newer end. Master-planned communities between Naples and Fort Myers with architectural standards, consistent elevations, covered porticos and double doors, most of it built recently enough that the entries were designed rather than left over. Coastal contemporary and transitional fronts take a cleaner Christmas program well: monochrome evergreen and warm white rather than a traditional red-and-green load.

Two local factors shape the work. Waterfront homes are frequently seen from the canal as well as the street, so the second-area add-on earns its keep here more than almost anywhere. And shade varies enormously: established southeast Cape streets have mature canopy, while the newer northern sections are wide and bright, which is hard on real pumpkins in October. We will tell you which category your street falls into.

Served by our southwest Florida crew. Zone 6: $200 delivery and a package minimum.
