The Long Island Gold Coast is the North Shore estate country of Nassau County, the surviving tradition of building at scale on the Sound. We cover the hand-picked affluent villages, Manhasset, Great Neck, Sands Point, Old Westbury, and Locust Valley, on a run out of our New York base.

The housing here is exactly what a serious seasonal display was made for. Center-hall colonials and stone-and-shingle estates in Manhasset, the grand and varied homes of the Great Neck peninsula, the waterfront mansions of Sands Point, the gated multi-acre estates of Old Westbury, and the understated old-money country houses of Locust Valley. Long approaches, two-story porticos, and wide symmetrical fronts let us scale a full display up so it reads from the gate and the drive, not just the front walk.

We design to whichever house we are standing in front of, a stone Tudor takes a different palette than a white colonial, source everything, install it, and come back at the end of the season to remove it if you add teardown. Understated, layered, and correctly proportioned is the brief, and at Christmas the lit-tree-flanked grand entrance is exactly the look these homes were built for.
