Christmas is the season people care most about and plan worst for. In September nobody is thinking about garland. By the second week of December every good installer in Broward is booked, the tree you wanted is gone, and you are on a ladder at 9pm arguing with a strand of lights.
Portico Seasonal handles the front porch, the trees, and the inside of the house. We design it, we bring it, we set it up, and in January we come take it down and store nothing at your address.
We do not install roofline lighting, gutter lighting, or any permanent exterior light system. No ladders on your roof, no clips on your fascia. If that is what you are after, you want a lighting company, and we would rather tell you now than sell you the wrong thing.
We do light porches and trees. Garland with lights on your columns and rail, lit trees flanking the door, lanterns down the steps, a lit tree in your living room. All of that is squarely what we do. The line is the roof.
What comes with every Christmas package
- Design included. Every Christmas package has the design in it. No add-on, no upsell. We work to your palette, whether that is traditional red and green or the quiet evergreen-and-cream look most of our clients ask for.
- Materials and setup. Garland, wreaths, ribbon, lights, ornaments, and the labor to hang all of it properly, on timers where it makes sense.
- A finished house. We fluff, we hide the cords, we test everything, and we do not leave until it looks the way it looked in the plan.

- Tree, small: $150. Decorating a tree you already own.

- Staircase garland: $200. The single highest-impact interior piece in most two-story homes.

Tree prices above cover decorating a tree that is already standing in your house. If you want us to supply the tree as well, we quote that separately once we know the size and whether you want real or artificial.
January teardown
The part everyone forgets to plan. We come back in January, take everything down, pack it, and take it out. Starting at $150 and priced against the size of what we put up.
Book it at the same time as the install. Trying to get a teardown slot in the second week of January, when the entire county wants the same thing on the same weekend, is a bad position to negotiate from.
Book before Thanksgiving
This is not a manufactured deadline. The Christmas install window is about four weeks long, one truck can only do so many houses in a day, and the weekend dates in the first half of December are the first to go. In practice the calendar is largely spoken for by Thanksgiving.
If you decorated with us in the fall, say so when you book. We hold a block of December dates for returning fall clients before the calendar opens up, and it is the easiest way to get the date you actually want.
What it looks like on the day
- Before the install. We confirm your date, your palette, and where the outlets and switched exteriors are. If we are doing interior work we will ask about pets and floors.
- Install day. Porch first, then trees, then interior. A front porch package is usually a couple of hours. A whole home is most of a day.
- Before we leave. Everything gets tested, timers get set, and we walk you through anything you will need to switch on and off.
- January. We come back, take it down, and it leaves with us.
What delivery costs, and why
We work out of central Broward, so the further we drive the more the job costs us in fuel, trailer time, and the installs we cannot fit in that day. Instead of quietly padding the package price or turning down the far-out homes, we charge the drive as its own line so you can see it.
- Zone 1, no fee. Plantation, Davie, Cooper City, and west Miramar. We are already there.
- Zone 2, $25. Weston, Southwest Ranches, Coral Springs, Parkland, and Sunrise.
- Zone 3, $50. Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington, and Loxahatchee.
- Zone 4, $100 and a package minimum. Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and the Palm Beach coast. These are scheduled on route days rather than on demand, and we do not run the small doorway package up there, because the drive eats the whole job.
