Christmas lights are the job everyone underestimates. The strand that worked last year does not this year. Half a column is lit and the other half is not. The timer you bought never quite kept the schedule, and by the second week of December you are on a ladder after dark instead of enjoying the porch you were trying to light. We do not install roofline lighting, gutter lighting, or any permanent exterior light system. No clips on your fascia and no ladders on your roof. If outlining your roofline is what you are after, you want a dedicated lighting company, and we would rather tell you that now than sell you the wrong thing. What we light is the part of the house you actually stand in front of: the porch, the entry, the columns, the rails, and the trees.
Every install begins with a quick read of your house. We look at the entry, the columns and rails, where the switched exteriors and outlets are, which trees or topiaries frame the door, and the palette that suits the facade. Some homes want traditional warm white with red and green accents. Many of our clients ask for the quieter evergreen-and-cream look that photographs beautifully and does not fight a painted door or a stone front. We plan the display against the house you actually have, not a catalog photo, and the design is included in every package. There is no upsell for it.

Materials, garland, ribbon, ornaments, and the labor to hang all of it are in the package price. We fluff the greenery, we hide the cords, and we do not leave until it looks the way it looked in the plan. A display that you have to remember to switch on and off is a display you will eventually leave dark. We set your lights on timers or a photocell so they come on at dusk and shut off on schedule on their own. Before we pack up, we test every circuit, confirm the schedule, and walk you through anything you will need to control. You should not have to think about your Christmas lights once they are up. That is the entire point of having them installed.
Most of what we do is residential, from a single lit doorway to a whole home with the porch, the trees, and the interior rooms that matter. We also handle commercial work: storefronts, lobbies, clubhouses, office entries, and clubhouse porches. The scope is the same, lit porches, columns, entries, wreaths, garland, and trees, on timers, with in-season maintenance and a January takedown. Larger commercial sites and estate-scale porches are quoted as custom work, designed from scratch against the property.
Lights fail. Strands go dark, a bulb gives out, a timer drifts off schedule after a power blip. When that happens, you tell us and we come back and fix it. In-season maintenance is part of how we work, not an argument you have to win. The value of a professionally installed display is not only install day. It is that the porch still looks right on December 23, when you have guests coming and no interest in troubleshooting a light strand.
The part everyone forgets to plan is January. We come back, take everything down, pack it, and take it out. January teardown starts at $150 and is priced to the size of what we put up. Because we supply the lights and greenery, none of it lives in your attic or ends up on your curb. Book the teardown at the same time as the install, because a teardown slot in the second week of January, when the whole county wants the same thing on the same weekend, is a bad position to negotiate from.

This is not a manufactured deadline. The Christmas install window is only about four weeks long, one crew can only light so many houses in a day, and the weekend dates in early December go first. In practice the calendar is largely spoken for by Thanksgiving. If you decorated with us in the fall, say so when you book, because we hold a block of December dates for returning clients before the calendar opens.
