The Hamptons are the estate villages of the South Fork, and the shingle-style architecture out here, gambrel roofs, deep covered porches, and cedar facades, is some of the most photographed residential building on the East Coast. It is a natural home for the layered, tasteful work we do, and many of these houses are second homes, which is exactly where our take-it-away model earns its place: you arrive to a finished house and leave without a thing to store.

We cover the run from Southampton and Water Mill through Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Amagansett, the historic whaling village of Sag Harbor with its captains' houses and Main Street porches, and out to the rugged oceanfront of Montauk at the very end. The palette out here is tasteful-coastal, warm neutrals and natural material for fall, evergreen and warm white for Christmas, with lighting designed to read across a long dusk approach, never a loud traditional load.
