Dunwoody is the north DeKalb city on the other side of the Perimeter, a settled, well-off, family place built largely in the 1970s and 80s around swim-and-tennis subdivisions. The housing is overwhelmingly traditional two-story: brick and siding fronts, formal entries, and the kind of tidy, established streets where a seasonal porch is expected and appreciated.

Those two-story entries are a natural fit for a scaled display. A symmetrical brick front with a tall door takes garland up the surround, a wreath sized to the entry, and lit trees flanking the steps without any of it looking busy. Neighborhoods like Redfield and the streets off Dunwoody Club Drive keep to a high, consistent standard, so a display here reads properly against the houses on either side.
