Golden Gate Estates is the acreage side of Naples: oversized lots, preserve on the doorstep, and famously no HOA telling you what you may put in your own front yard. Architecturally it runs from Florida ranch through contemporary to modern farmhouse and one-off custom builds, which means there is no house style to design against, only the house in front of us.

The freedom cuts both ways. Nobody here will object to a large display, so the ceiling is much higher than in a governed community. But the lots are deep, the houses sit well back, and there is essentially no ambient light at night, so a modest doorway arrangement simply vanishes. What works is the same recipe we use in Loxahatchee and Southwest Ranches: real volume at the entry, vertical height, and lit elements that carry down the drive after dark.

Plan for power. On an Estates lot the nearest usable exterior outlet can be a long way from where you want light, so tell us where your outdoor power actually is when you book and we will design to what is possible rather than promise something we then cannot deliver.
