Seasonal Porch Decorating in Sunny Isles Beach

We will be straight about Sunny Isles: it is a strip of barrier island dominated by high-rise towers, and most of what we do elsewhere does not apply here. There are very few front porches on this stretch of A1A. The lifestyle is vertical by design.

What we do instead is entries, terraces, and the interior work. A tower residence with a wide terrace and a water view takes a beautiful compact Christmas program: a lit tree sized to the room, a mantel or console if you have one, garland where it reads against glass rather than stone. Several buildings also commission lobby and amenity-level work, which we quote as custom.

Before booking anything for a common area, check with your association. Most buildings have rules about corridors, doors, and anything visible from outside, and we would rather design inside those rules than have your display taken down. Golden Beach immediately north is the single-family exception nearby, and that is conventional porch work.

Sunny Isles is Zone 2 at $25 delivery. Wind and salt off the ocean are the real design constraint at this elevation, so everything gets anchored and we avoid lightweight material that a gust will redistribute across your neighbour's terrace.
