Loxahatchee is the largest-lot market we serve. Most homes in The Acreage sit on one to one and a half acres, and Loxahatchee Groves runs from two and a half acres to well over twenty, under agricultural residential zoning that keeps animal restrictions loose and the character genuinely rural.

Everything about decorating changes at that scale. The house is a long way off the road, the driveway is a real approach rather than a parking pad, and there is essentially no ambient light at night. A display that would look generous on a Cooper City stoop simply does not register out here. What works is volume and vertical mass at the entry, plus something that carries down the drive: lit trees, lanterns, and at Christmas, garland and light on whatever structure sits between the road and the front door.

The other thing about acreage properties is that they usually have more than one thing worth decorating. A barn, a gate, a guest structure, a covered patio. The second-area add-on and custom work are both more common here than in any of our suburban cities. Loxahatchee is Zone 3, a $50 delivery line, and normal scheduling. Give us the gate or a call when we arrive, because addresses out here are not always where the map thinks they are.

Power and access are the two things that decide what is possible on an acreage property. There is often no exterior outlet anywhere near the gate, and the run from the house can be long enough that lighting the approach is a real conversation rather than an assumption. Battery and solar options exist and we use them, but they are dimmer, so we would rather set expectations before you pay than after.
